Terms and Conditions for Businesses

These API Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the access to and use of the ResellerRatings Application Programming Interface (“API”) by Client (defined below) and are incorporated into and made part of any agreement referencing these Terms (the “Agreement”) between RSR Acquisition, LLC dba ResellerRatings (“ResellerRatings”, “we”, or “us”) and the entity or individual using the API (“Client”, “you”).

1. API Access and License
Subject to these Terms and an active, paid subscription agreement, ResellerRatings grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the API & data solely to interface with ResellerRatings services as intended.

• API credentials are unique to your account and may not be shared or reused across unrelated properties.

2. Permitted Use
You may use the API to:
• Submit reviews, flags, and moderation data.
• Retrieve ratings, reviews, analytics, and customer feedback as permitted by your plan tier.
• Integrate ResellerRatings widgets and content into your own systems or interfaces.

3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
• Access the API without a valid and current subscription or written permission.
• Use the API in a way that replicates or competes with any ResellerRatings service. •
Cache, aggregate, store, or persist API data beyond 30 days without express permission, except where required for compliance or internal reporting.
• Use the API to circumvent moderation or review authenticity processes.
• Share your API keys outside your organization.4. Termination of Access
API access is automatically revoked upon the termination or expiration of your subscription or in cases of material breach. ResellerRatings reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without notice if unauthorized, excessive, or abusive usage is detected.

‍5. Data Retention and Purging

‍Upon termination or cancellation, whether voluntary or for non-payment: All data retrieved or accessed via the API (including customer reviews, analytics, or derived insights) must be deleted from your systems within 30 days unless otherwise permitted under law. You must certify in writing, upon request, that such data has been deleted. Continued use, retention, or distribution of API-derived data after termination is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

6. Non-Paying Clients
Clients accessing the API under a free trial, beta program, or legacy relationship without a current paid subscription are deemed “Non-Paying Clients.” ResellerRatings reserves the right to: Throttle, limit, or suspend API usage for Non-Paying Clients at any time. Purge stored data associated with Non-Paying Clients with 7 days’ notice. Restrict access to certain endpoints or features unless an active subscription is in place.

‍7. Audit Rights
‍ResellerRatings reserves the right to audit your API usage for compliance with these Terms. You agree to cooperate with any reasonable request and provide access logs or documentation related to API activity if requested.

‍8. ModificationsWe may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the API after notice of modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

‍9. General
These Terms do not convey any intellectual property rights except those expressly granted. Violations may result in immediate suspension, legal enforcement, or termination of all platform access.
